BETSY + MARK

Hi there!  Happy Friday! I hope you all have some fabulous plans (hopefully that involve some type of water!) for this stinking hot weekend coming up! 🙂   Speaking of hot+water, Betsy + Mark,  a baker + a firefighter, are now married and we were so delighted to be able to capture their beautiful day!   The elements of their wedding were so uniquely theirs.   Special touches included a vintage fire truck that whisked them away to the reception,  beautiful (+scrumptious!) handmade desserts that Betsy + her mom spent countless hours creating, and the most down-to-earth + organic wedding reception decor we’ve ever seen.  Take a look! 🙂

Betsy’s mom + dad are farmers who lost a big cherry tree behind their barn earlier this year.  Instead of wasting the wood, they took the tree to an Amish man who cut it into 2 ” discs which were used as centerpieces for their reception!  Betsy’s parents also lost a weathered deck to the bad ice storm we had this past winter, and decided to recycle it for their decor as well.  We have never known more resourceful, creative people!

All of these beautiful cupcakes (400 in total, + 6 different flavors!)  were hand-made by Betsy’s new company, Cupcake Fairy Treats. You MUST check out her facebook page and use her cupcakes for your next event!  They were divine! 🙂

Betsy + Mark — we cannot put into words the joy we feel for you both.  Thank you so much for your unconditional kindness shown to Andy + I on your wedding day.  We appreciate it so, so much. Also, a huge thank you to your mom who sent us home with a dozen of your amazing cupcakes, for no reason at all!  We shared them with friends + family and every person raved about your creations!  We wish you both the best in your future together!  xoxo, A+A
