Katie + David had one of the most lovely, perfectly orchestrated weddings we’ve seen this year. Beyond that, both of their families treated Andy + I as kin and went out of their way to be kind + thoughtful to us the entire day. It’s people like them that make our job so incredibly rewarding. 🙂 Now, on to the photos!

Katie + David were, I think, hoping for lovely fall weather, having an early November wedding, but instead, received the first beautiful snow of the season!

Andy + I felt blessed to be able to photograph the snow when we could, though — because as soon as we did, it melted away as if it never happened!
And then, just as if it was meant to be, Katie + David had perfect fall weather for their perfect fall wedding. 🙂

Chillin’ (literally!) with the gentlemen…

…and with the ladies. Katie made sure to include these pretty scarves for her girls to help everyone stay warm!

Time for the ceremony, which took place at the lovely St. Pius X.

A blessing. (You might not recognize him, but that’s Jeff, one of our grooms from this summer! He + Ashley are the reason Katie + David found us!
Thanks, you two! 🙂 )

Another blessing, and then, the kiss 😉

We have never seen anything like this before! Katie + David had some time built in between their ceremony + reception, so they had these brochures made to help people find their way to some area attractions before heading over to the reception. What an awesome idea for your out-of-town guests!

Meanwhile, we shot some photos 🙂

We headed over to Notre Dame’s campus — where Katie attended college + where her father currently works! 🙂

And then, inside the stadium 🙂

David, on the other hand, attended IU and isn’t much of a ND fan. But that’s okay, Katie still loves him 🙂

Time for a fun reception! A family member owns a flower shop and did a beautiful job decorating the entire hall with dozens + dozens of red, red roses.

The Gillepsie Center is one of our favorite South Bend venues. 🙂

These were the coolest place cards we’ve ever seen. Each couple received an envelope that contained a photo of Katie + David from their
engagement session that doubled as a gift with the table number written on the back!

David is a cigar connoisseur. With incredible taste. He had a few boxes of these floating around at the reception for guests to enjoy.
(PS – I’ve been to Havana and have seen these things made. I’ll tell you about it sometime 😉 )

We’ll end with a dance. Katie and David, thank you SO much for having us be part of your day. We hope you had a wonderful, relaxing honeymoon + first few weeks together as a married couple. We wish you the best + many blessings in your future together. xoxo, A+A
