Hi from DC! We are, after two weeks, just now starting to get settled.  We still have a bazillion boxes to unload, but we’ll get there!

I’m excited to share Lauren’s photos with you.  She is one gorgeous & talented girl and she comes from an amazing family.  We photographed her sister’s wedding 2 years ago and it was one of the most wonderful experiences we’ve ever had at a wedding.  The wedding of course was breathtakingly beautiful, but Kat’s (& Lauren’s) family were so warm and kind and treated us like family.

So when Kat’s mom (Anita) called to ask if I could do her youngest daughter’s senior photos, I said yes in a heartbeat!  There was only one problem! We were moving to DC!  Anita had heard this but knew she wanted us to take Lauren’s photos. So not only were they completely flexible with our insane moving/packing schedule, she & Lauren drove 3 hours from South Bend to Indy (those photos in the field were in my back yard!!) to make it easier on us.  We truly have never met more thoughtful people.

On to Lauren! On top of being gorgeous and talented, she is completely adorable in front of a camera and she has some awesome fashion sense. I kind of want her to take me shopping someday 😉 Immediately after shooting these photos, Lauren flew to Honduras to work with less privileged children & their families. See what I mean?!  She’s a gem. Lauren – we wish you the best in your final year of high school! We’d say something like “make it count” but we have no doubt that you will. All the best! xoxo
