Hi there everyone. Happy Easter! This holiday brings to mind family, love, and warm pinks & purples. Lisa & Jay’s wedding is the epitome of that description. Two became four that day because Jay’s twin girls, Maddie & Ashlynne, are now Lisa’s daughters. And their private ceremony’s guest list was 13 people — including us!! It was so perfectly intimate.
I can’t choose my favorite moment because there were so many 🙂 A few of them were: When their officiant & best friend Shawn came into the girls’ room to deliver gifts from Jay, 2 monogrammed necklaces (an M & an A) for the girls and a giant bag for Lisa. Among the gifts in Lisa’s bag was a photo frame with a special hand written message from the Maddie & Ashlynne. Instant tears. These moments prompted the 4 to share several “huddle hugs.” You’ll see what I mean. They are so close.
When Jay & Lisa were saying their vows, the girls were so overwhelmed with happy emotions that they were simply bursting during the ceremony. We’ve never seen two young girls with such full hearts as these two. Then, when Jay & Lisa were dancing their first dance, they paused briefly, Lisa outstretched her arm, and two blonde twins dashed to the dance floor to join them in a huddle hug dance 🙂 We felt so completely honored to be part of this meaningful, emotional, wonderful day.
