We headed east to Philadelphia for the distinguished wedding of Margo & Eric. Before we get much further, we must acknowledge that we had an obnoxious wedding crasher — a little storm named Irene that you may have heard about. 🙂
Margo + Eric had an amazing team in their corner including the fabulous staff of the Merion Golf Club. These people were incredible. They moved an outdoor ceremony indoors, scrambled to find generators when the power went out at the reception, planned a first dance to occur by candlelight + piano (because no power = no band equipment) and above all, managed to show every guest a good time.
You’ll see evidence of the torrential rain in the photos below, but we chose instead to focus on their marriage and the memories being made, not the nonsense caused by Irene. Needless to say, it was a wedding that we won’t soon forget.
