STUBER FAMILY — WASHINGTON, DC

We’ve had the honor of photographing this gorgeous family since 2009.  Last time, we met at a cute little apple orchard near Indianapolis, IN. And the time before that was at a farm behind our old Indiana home.  This time we had the chance to take their photos near our new home in DC! We met them in the beautiful Navy Yard right by the water (and in the middle of their family vacation!) just before sunset. ‘

You’ll never meet a kinder, more compassionate and friendly group than the Stubers. We’ve looked up to them for years and now that we have our own little one, hope to be half the parents that Mary Ellen & Jamie are to their kiddos. Thanks so much for taking time out of your vacation to get some new photos. Much love to you!

EDEN

This little lady isn’t a baby anymore — she’s turning TWO!  Eden can be still and pensive one moment and silly and giggly the next — a perfect blend of her two parents,  Seth & Kelly. Kelly is a talented artist who completely captures the beauty in nature and Seth is an iconic, charismatic young-adults minister. Together, they’re an amazing team and simply wonderful people.  Eden has some big shoes to fill but I think you can tell from the images below that this girl will have no trouble finding her own way. 🙂

ZACH + KYLE — CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL, WASHINGTON, DC

We had the awesome opportunity of experiencing two favorites — the Cherry Blossom Festival and an adorable couple in love. Meet Zach & Kyle — two cuties who woke up at the break of dawn to beat the crazy crowds that would be forming around the Tidal Basin the very weekend the blossoms were in bloom. And it was so worth it! Soon after we left, there were literally thousands upon thousands of people swarming around the Jefferson Memorial to catch a glimpse of the 3,000 trees planted in 1912 — a gift from the mayor of Tokyo commemorating diplomacy and friendship between the United States and Japan. So cool. Andy and I consider it such an honor to be living here! It’s so incredible to be part of such historical events. A big thanks to Zach & Kyle for waking up early, braving the crowds, being adorable, and giving us a reason to shoot photos of some really beautiful cherry blossoms!
